Summary: Fundamental compendium of each branch in fluid science
Rating: 5
This marvellous book is a fundamental classic in fluid science. Each chapter contains a detailed and full exhaustive mathematical description of each fluid science branch, such as: acoustics, idraulics and so on. From capillary waves to viscous flow, Landau unveils the magical world of hydrodynamics, through applications and problems at the end of each chapter. Moreover, the author's nobel topic, Helium superfluidity has been described in one of the last chapter. In my opinion, altough is quite old, this book is still a must for every fluid research and PhD. fluid science student!
